The “loft” décor style associates mostly with youngsters. With that mature generations usually do pay attention to it at all. And those who know its main features simply understand why so. At the same time many people just don’t like it. For example according to many ladies this style is quite boring and uncomfortable. However there are a lot of men who enjoy the loft interiors.
Few facts of loft style
In my opinion the interior made in that style fits better a single and wealthy man rather than a young family. With all its features loft style is almost screaming about the rebellious and strong character of the apartment’s owner. I’ve got doubts that such a studio-apartment will be a good option to live with children, especially from the safety point of view. Often loft style flats have 2 floors with a single narrow ladder that made not from bricks or stones but in iron and with rare railings at the sides. Also such apartment interiors include many different iron sculptures that would be both interesting and dangerous for little spitfires.
The best option for loft-studios is an old factory buildings transformed into living apartments. They regularly have huge windows that bring tones of light to the room space. It is one of the distinctive markers of this style. Besides if there are external air shafts or ventilation tubes, it’s just perfect! It means you’ve almost set your loft décor design. Just bring a sofa and TV and you are at home. No jokes, such things as open tubes are indeed the feature of the loft style.

The regular colors applied for this interior design mostly are dim tones. Usually they are:

Less frequently one may see light tones as there is a thin edge between loft and Scandinavian décor styles.
